The BC-700 Battery Charger is a compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use intelligent charger for any AA and  AAA nickel-cadmium (NiCd) and nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. 

Rechargeable batteries often have their life shortened, or capacity reduced, by using poor quality battery chargers. Overcharging will damage a battery, and repeatedly recharging without cycling to a full discharge before recharging can reduce the battery capacity due to memory effect. New batteries will have a longer life if charged properly, and some previously damaged batteries can be recovered to nearly their original capacity by an intelligent charger. The ACCUPOWER  Technology BC-700 is such a charger. The BC-700 package includes the intelligent charging unit, and ac adapter. The BC-700 is the same charger as the BC-900 model, but without the  carrying bag.
