Product Introduction

Knob steering gear control module is a plug and play, simple and easy to use steering gear controller, with knob adjustment, back function, serial command control three steering gear control mode.

Product Features

1. Onboard mature and stable 8-bit MCU is used to generate high resolution PWM signal with accurate control:

2, support manual mode and back mode, through the button switch, with mode indicator light

3. Support knob adjustment or serial command control in manual mode

4. serial port command control can use the supporting upper computer or connected to the external MCU

5. the number of control channels: 2 (M0 and M1 steering gear), the use of knob adjustment and return function of 2 steering gear control at the same time, using serial command 2 steering gear can be controlled respectively

6. steering gear control precision: 0.09 degrees (that is, PWM limit small change value of 1US)

7. support control cycle of 20ms, pulse width in 0.5-2.5ms range of steering gear

8. can directly use 2S lithium battery charging head debugging and back to the steering gear

9. power supply voltage range: 5-9V (specific to the actual steering gear power supply voltage shall prevail)

2. Manual mode:

Select the manual mode by the on-board button. At this time, the manual light will be on and the median light will be off. The manual mode includes knob control and serial port control. The default is knob control. The system will switch the two control modes automatically, that is, when the potentiometer is detected to rotate, the knob control is selected, and when the serial port receives effective control instructions, the string control is selected.

2.1 Knob control:

Direct rotation of the potentiometer can control the steering gear in 0-180° range of rotation.

2.2 Serial port control:

The onboard MCU can receive and interpret the steering gear position instructions (baud rate 9600, compatible with 3.3V/5V level) from the upper computer, external MCU and other equipment, so as to control two steering gear respectively. The format of the steering gear position instruction is: # It; ch> P< time > !, their meanings are as follows:

A, the # sign is the starting symbol, indispensable;

B, & It; ch> Denotes the number of steering gear controlled, with a total of 2(range: 00-01 corresponds to steering gear MO and M1 respectively);

C, P is a fixed symbol in the instruction format, indispensable;

D & It; time> Denotes the width of PWM signal (range: 05002500 respectively corresponding to 0-180°);

E,! Is the end of an instruction symbol, indicating the end of an instruction, indispensable. For example, send # 00P1500! The steering gear MO can be rotated to 90° position Send # 01 p1000! The steering gear M1 can be rotated to the 45° position Take connecting upper computer LCSC as an example, first prepare a USB to TTL serial port module (such as CH340, FT232, etc.) the TX, RX and GND of the serial port module are respectively connected to the RX, TX and GND of the control board, select the correct port number, and drag the progress bar No. 0 and No.1 to control the steering gear M0 and M1 respectively after successful
