The stock plastic frame is too soft, especially at the section near the motor mount. This metal piece solves this problem.

An inclined battery holder (ESK307, available separately) is an option addon, with this new battery mount, you can fix the battery in front of the chassis just like Trex 450, Mini Titan does.
With this new battery mounting position, the weight distribution of the King 3 become perfect balanced and you will notice a big difference that these upgrades improve the stability in flying.
